Today CCL signed a conditional sales agreement for Spark to buy CCL.
“This is a big move for us,” stated Andrew Allan, CEO, CCL. “With Spark New Zealand’s backing, CCL will gain the benefits of Spark Digital’s resources to help us accelerate our growth. And importantly for our customers, CCL will retain its own unique way of working. Our customers should expect the same total commitment to their future success, with the added power of Spark New Zealand behind us.”
“We’re pleased to have a cloud services company with the track-record and reputation of CCL joining our team and strengthening our market-leading capabilities,” added Tim Miles, CEO Spark Digital. “Our strategy is to better enable our customers to succeed in a digital world, and cloud is an integral part of that. “CCL is a respected and admired business that we want to strengthen and grow, not change. The CCL brand will be retained and CCL will continue to run as a standalone business
“Darryl Swann and I remain totally committed to the business and will continue to run it on a day-to-day basis.” confirmed Allan. “Sparks’ investment allows CCL to continue to invest in new areas, while ensuring CCL’s long-term sustainable growth.
“From our client’s and staff perspective there will be little change,” stated Allan, “over time this new agreement will enable Computer Concepts to reach its full potential with a greater range and depth of services. All current roles will remain and we are already looking for more staff and at new opportunities to better support all our clients. This is an exciting time for everyone at CCL.
