Richard leads CCL, with accountability for both development of its strategy and its successful execution.

He joined CCL in 2022, having held a number of leadership roles for Spark Group over the last ten years. Most recently, he led the Spark Consumer Channels business – and previously, he led the Business Sales & Service teams across Spark’s Central and Southern Markets.

Richard started his career in Fletcher Challenge and has more than 20 years’ experience in the ICT sector. He spent six years in Europe and Australasia within the software sector, and then returned to New Zealand in 2011. He lives in Wellington with his family.

Melinda leads CCL’s finance team, with overall responsibility for managing finance activities and providing insights to business performance.

Taking the position in 2022, Melinda is a familiar face within the Spark Business Group, holding a variety of finance roles over a 10-year period. She was most recently Chapter Lead of the Group Performance finance team at Spark.

Her tenure at Spark coincided with a decade of growth and expansion, including the acquisition of Revera, CCL, Digital Island, and Entelar (formerly Telegistics).

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Melinda holds a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy, and a post-graduate Diploma in Accountancy, both from Massey University.

Donna is CCL’s General Manager Security Information and Operations Management.

Formerly the GM of Platform Operations –Datacom Cloud, and with various business operations management roles for Datacom, Donna has over 25 years of experience as a skilled leader in the IT industry. These roles included supporting and managing various IT environments and services including all aspects of delivery and management from people to processes to vendor relationship management.

As an MBA graduate with a supporting Business Computing Diploma, Donna has been instrumental in achieving both change within teams that she has led, and with clients with whom she has worked, to achieve results of change. With a very calm, pragmatic, and approachable leadership style, Donna is a fantastic asset to the CCL team.

Stephen oversees commercial strategy and performance for CCL’s Northern region.

He joined CCL in 2017 to head up engineering (Northern region) following a decade with IT provider Appserv (acquired by Spark in 2014), where he worked in the leadership team and in a variety of client engagement, project, and service delivery roles.

Twenty-plus years in IT, Stephen has held both technical and management roles for start-ups through to large corporates and multi-national companies.

Robert is responsible for CCL’s partner strategy and the continued development of ecosystem capabilities.

Joining CCL in 2022, Robert has led partner management and affiliate sales and services in government, corporate, and SME business sectors across the country.

Eighteen-plus years with Spark Group, Robert most recently held the position of Group Sales Operations Lead, where he directed sales and capability development across digital services, managed IT, cloud, telco, sourcing, and IoT business streams. He has also held senior IT roles at Unisys and Inland Revenue NZ.

Daniel leads CCL’s ICT, information security, and data centre functions.

His appointment in 2022 follows eight years in leadership roles across Spark Group, most recently as Tribe Lead in Spark’s product cluster, where he spearheaded the development of new products and customer experiences.

Twenty-plus years in digital-led customer experience design and delivery, Daniel’s earlier roles with Spark include Domain Chapter Lead – Digital, Consumer Digital Lead, Channel Lead – Customer Solutions, and Head of Care Transformation and Premium Support.

Tim spearheads CCL’s product and marketing strategy to shape the company’s overall direction, brand, and portfolio.

He joined CCL in 2020 following the company’s amalgamation of Spark sibling and business transformation company Leaven, where he held the position GM – strategy and marketing.

Tim has held product and marketing leadership roles at Xero, Intergen, and Unisys. He also advised several start-ups and was a co-founder of AfterMail, an email archiving company acquired by Quest Software.

As CCL’s People & Culture Lead, Craig’s role is focused on empowering our people to achieve the company’s purpose and strategic aspiration, and to continually transform our culture into a more diverse and inclusive environment where everyone can connect, learn and thrive.

Craig is experienced in leading P&C teams, HR initiatives and large scale transformations and culture change programmes while partnering with high performing executive teams across a range of sectors, industries and geographies. He is passionate about a purpose and principles led culture and creating an experience that attracts and inspires people who want to imagine and co-create an innovative customer experience.
